Reiki 4th Degree | Teacher
The Teacher Level (traditional according to Dr. Mikao Usui) conveys the ability and authorization to give Reiki initiations to others and to train them in all Reiki levels according to Dr. Mikao Usui — including Master/Teacher.
This level represents the completion of the Reiki system and means that you may offer courses afterward, but are not required to do so.
In Reiki Teacher Degree, I expect several important aspects from you:
In-depth Knowledge:
You should have a deep understanding of the Reiki principles, techniques (such as distant healing in the past/future, programming, healing the inner child, various chakra balancing, emergency Reiki, Kenyoku, Byosen, scanning/beaming, Gassho, Gakkai’s Hatsu Rei Ho, etc. – please see the content below) and symbols (being able to draw them from memory) that you have learned in the previous levels.
Self-Practice:
It is expected that you regularly practice Reiki, both for yourself and for others. This helps deepen your skills and strengthen your own energy.
Teaching Skills:
- You should be able to teach others Reiki.
- This includes creating lesson plans, conducting courses and imparting knowledge to your students.
Initiations:
- In the Teacher Level, you will learn how to initiate others into Reiki.
- This includes understanding the various initiation rituals and how to carry them out.
Ethical Principles:
- A strong awareness of ethical practices in dealing with your students and clients is essential.
- This includes respect, integrity, and responsibility.
Personal Development:
Your personal spiritual development and growth on the path of Reiki are of great importance.
Support for Students:
You should be willing to support your students and accompany them on their journey.
Additional prerequisites for the Teacher Level
Include completing the Reiki 3 Master Level.
If you have not learned Reiki 1 and 2 with me, please check the content of my courses to ensure that you are familiar with all topics covered.

This is important to ensure that we are all on the same level of experience and knowledge.
If you are already familiar with all the content, a prior conversation or appointment with me will suffice. Appointments can be made either in person or via Zoom; please email me to arrange a suitable time.
I reserve the right to require students to repeat the course if they do not adequately
grasp the content (or only an insufficient part of it) despite prior confirmation, before I issue the diploma.
My extensive experience has shown how crucial it is for all participants to have a similar level of understanding.
If someone wishes to repeat my previous courses, we can ensure that I support the master course authentically, ethically, and with a pure heart.

If you have already completed Reiki 3 and/or Reiki 4 – whether with me or at another school – you have the option to combine the Reiki Master level (Reiki 3) and the Reiki Teacher level (Reiki 4) in one single day.
When booking the combined Reiki 3 & Reiki 4 programme, you receive a 10% discount on the total fee.
If you are interested in the Reiki Master level (Reiki 3) and completed Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 at another school, you may repeat these levels with me at a 20% discount.
This allows you to refresh your knowledge and create a harmonised, consistent foundation for the Master level.

How are the different course durations and prices for seminars and initiations determined?
With over 20 years of experience in the field of Reiki, my training in England and Switzerland, as well as my teaching of Japanese/Tibetan Reiki according to its origins and traditions, along with additional training and experiences (see here) spanning over 30 years, I am able to impart profound and extensive knowledge about Reiki to my students.
In addition to fundamental techniques such as Kenyoku, Scanning, Beaming, Byosen, Gassho, Hatsu Rei Ho etc., and energy work within the aura and chakras, I also integrate further aspects such as nutrition, the laws of attraction, the power of thought, and much more into my courses (see course content).
I had the extraordinary fortune to learn from Sharon, who collaborated with Frank Arjava Petter and William Lee Rand.
This provided me with the opportunity to learn the traditional Japanese Reiki system Usui Shiki Ryoho according to the teachings of Dr. Mikao Usui, as well as Tibetan Reiki and numerous Japanese techniques.
This experience enables me to offer traditional Reiki training in Zurich and online. The positive feedback from my students who have previously learned Reiki from other teachers confirms the quality of my training.
In the past, a Reiki course typically lasted two days. Nowadays, this is no longer necessary as information regarding the history of Reiki, the functioning of chakras and aura etc., is easily accessible in books or online.
Nevertheless, I cover these topics in my courses.
Additionally, participants receive comprehensive course materials (25-40 pages depending on the level), access to exchange groups, as well as a handcrafted diploma with seal. Furthermore, I provide access to exclusive content on my website under EXCLUSIVE FOR STUDENTS.
To ensure that I teach and train according to Dr. Mikao Usui's traditional method as a Reiki teacher, I maintain a verifiable Reiki lineage (or Reiki family tree). The direct lineage to Dr. Mikao Usui can be viewed here.
Since 2020, I have also been offering online courses to give even more people the opportunity to benefit from my extensive knowledge and long-standing experience.
My courses take place in small, personal groups, allowing me to address each participant individually. After each level (attunement), participants carry out a 21-day self-treatment at home in order to integrate the energy sustainably.
