Welcome to my bilingual traditional Reiki school in Zurich (in-person courses) as well as online training (interactive 1:1 format, no pre-recorded videos).

Founded in 2002 by Yvette Plimmer, Reiki Master & Teacher, trained in England and Switzerland.

I am one of the few teachers in the German-speaking region who pass on traditional Reiki knowledge, in a direct line to Dr. Mikao Usui.

To ensure that a Reiki teacher truly practices and trains according to the traditional Japanese method established by Dr. Mikao Usui, it is common to maintain a Reiki lineage (or Reiki lineage chart). This Reiki lineage should be traceable from the current Reiki teacher all the way back to Dr. Usui.

My knowledge is based on the original Japanese tradition (and not the Western lineage commonly found here), complemented by Tibetan techniques, decades of practice, and work with countless people.

Reiki Lineage

Do you know your Reiki lineage and that of your teacher? Do you know how your teacher began with Reiki?

To ensure that a Reiki teacher works and teaches according to the traditional Japanese method of Dr. Mikao Usui, a Reiki lineage (family tree) is maintained. This lineage should be traceable without gaps all the way back to Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.

When you are initiated into the Reiki teacher level, you become part of this Reiki lineage. Every Reiki teacher has their own lineage.

I am very proud of my direct lineage to Dr. Mikao Usui and had the extraordinary luck to study with Sharon, who worked with Frank Arjava Petter and William Lee Rand. This allowed me not only to learn the traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing according to Dr. Mikao Usui, but also Tibetan Reiki and many Japanese techniques.

To be recognized in the Reiki healing tradition, the lineage of your Reiki system must also be traceable back to Mikao Usui.

This experience allows me to offer traditional Reiki training in Zurich, and in numerous Reiki courses, I have introduced people to the secrets of the Reiki healing system. I work in German and English, both in person and online.

As a guide, I help and inspire people to take the first steps on unknown paths.

Varying Course Lengths & Prices

How are the different course durations and prices for seminars and initiations determined?

In the past, a Reiki course typically lasted two days. Nowadays, this is no longer necessary as information regarding the history of Reiki, the functioning of chakras and aura etc., is easily accessible in books or online. Nevertheless, I cover these topics in my courses.

Additionally, participants receive comprehensive course materials (25-40 pages depending on the level), access to exchange groups, as well as a handcrafted diploma with seal.

Furthermore, I provide access to exclusive content on my website under EXCLUSIVE FOR STUDENTS.

To ensure that I teach and train according to Dr. Mikao Usui’s traditional method as a Reiki teacher, I maintain a verifiable Reiki lineage (or Reiki family tree). The direct lineage to Dr. Mikao Usui can be viewed here.

Since 2020, I have also been offering online courses to give even more people the opportunity to benefit from my extensive knowledge and long-standing experience.
