High concentrations of harmful industrial chemicals (PFAS) in Lake Constance drinking water reservoir Investigations in Lake Constance have revealed too high concentrations of the pollutant group PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). The International Commission for the Protection of Lake Constance (IGKB) has called for a ban on these substances. The IGKB announced this on Friday after its latest meeting in Ermatingen, Thurgau.
